Last summer, I went to Arizona on a summer mission trip. I posted my newsletters on WordPress before I decided to put everything here on Wix. My summer in Toronto is already up, and I am excited to be reading through last summer's adventures again with you.

Update on Car
Since I haven’t given full details on the car situation, so
The plan was for me to be able to have a missionary vehicle for the whole summer. About 3 weeks into my trip, I had still been without a car, but all the details concerning the car had been finalized. When we went to go get it, the battery was dead – like dead dead, no jumping kind of dead.
On my 5th Wednesday here, the details worked out for a different vehicle, and it was parked outside of the house I’m staying at. The next day, I was supposed to drive it from the city back to Anthem since Tyler would be driving back the van from dropping off the Rosas family and Cody at the airport. Everything was fine until I got on the highway. As I was speeding up, I realized it was not going past 45 mph. After calling Tyler, the situation was easily fixed when I switched from Manual to Drive (which was right above Manual). About 15 minutes later, I am supposed to be merging right. As I slow down, the car just stops accelerating, and I’m stuck right next to the shoulder. It was really hot, but I didn’t want to keep the car running that entire time. At least I had cars rushing down the sides that generated a little bit of breeze.
Spoiler alert, I’m okay. THANK YOU, GOD. The car is not, which may be because I wasn’t supposed to be speeding up on Manual. Thankfully, a couple of guys pulled over and pushed my car over to the shoulder… and thankfully that’s all they did. It took Tyler about 30 minutes to get to where I was, and we were there a good 3 hours before the tow truck finally made it (it was given the wrong address). At least I was able to work on art and share a Bible story with the roadside assistance worker who was nice and stayed with us the entire time (those details in newsletter).
Bible Reading Chart
I’ve created a chart that you can print off or save on your iPad, so you can mark off what books of the Bible you have read! Under the “Bible Reading” Tab, just scroll down!
